Julia A. Hatfield

February 4, 1921 - November 11, 2017

       Julia A. Hatfield, 96 and formerly of Baker Street, passed away Saturday morning at 3:35 a.m. at Miller’s Merry Manor in Plymouth.
       Julia was born in Plymouth, Indiana on February 4, 1921 to Harry Orville and Grace Alma (Stockman) Wright. She graduated from Plymouth High School with the class of 1939.
       On June 8, 1940, in Plymouth, she married Harvey Junior “Mike” Hatfield. He would proceed her in death on September 28, 2008.
       Julia worked as a switchboard operator for United Telephone and as a secretary for William A. Pope Company.
       She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Plymouth.
       Julia is survived by a son, Michael Allen (Susan Gay) Hatfield Jr. of Hinsdale, IL; two grandchildren, Michael (Karen) Hatfield, Jr., Glenview, IL, and Laura (Kenneth) Whitelaw, Johnston, Iowa, and four great-grandchildren.
       Per the family’s wishes, no public services will be held.
       Inurnment will be with her husband, Mike, in the Chapel Hill Cemetery, Osceola, Indiana.
