Andrew Dean Abair

Andrew Dean Abair, 37, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 21, 2025. Born in Plymouth on January 2, 1988, Andy was the son of Harold and Jane (Peters) Abair.

Graduating from Plymouth High School in 2006, Andy went on to pursue a career with Hoosier Tire Midwest working in their Distribution Center. He utilized his skills as a mechanic to help work on their semi-trucks and trailers. Andy was a skilled mechanic and found joy in working on cars in his free time. He was also an avid gamer and relished in the virtual world playing various games online.

For Andy, family was the cornerstone of his life. He brought laughter and warmth to family gatherings, never missing an opportunity to tease his nieces and nephews. Christmastime always held a special place for Andy and his family as they spent time together enjoying his mother’s famous cookies.

Andy will be sorely missed by those who loved him; his quiet, kind personality will be remembered by those who knew his gentle soul.

Andy is survived by his parents, Harold and Jane; brothers, Harley (Michelle) McCoige and Adam Abair; nieces and nephews, Braxton, Gavyn, Alex, Lexi, and Toby; grandparents, Harold and Leona Abair and Becky Peters; along with numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. Andy is also survived by his cousin and best friend, Nick Abair.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Eugene Peters and Charlene Abair.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025 from 5-7PM at Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan Street, Plymouth, IN 46563.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be directed to Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home towards Andy’s funeral expenses.
