Angela K. Day, 51, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at Center for Hospice Care, Mishawaka.
Born on July 14, 1971 she was the daughter of Steve and Betty (Izedpski) Klingerman. She attended Plymouth High School graduating with the class of 1990. Angela went to cosmetology school at Vogue Beauty School in Mishawaka. She owned Natural Look in Bremen before choosing to stay at home to focus her attention on loving her husband and children.
On September 8, 2006 she married her high school sweetheart, Jon, in Plymouth. Angela was known as a sweet and welcoming woman. She had a very inviting soul that would take you in as soon as you met her. She loved the outdoors, never missing a chance to go on a weekend getaway with Jon, either camping or hiking. Potato Creek, Turkey Run and Salamonie Lake were just some of their favorites to go to, whether it was just the two of them, or with their children.
Angela’s legacy will live on through her children. Her sweet disposition, and her drive for true joyfulness, will never be forgotten. Her ability to never miss out on opportunities to live her life to the fullest is one of many key elements that she possessed, and passed onto the ones she loved the most. Angela was the best wife and mom to her family.
She is survived by her parents, Steve and Betty Klingerman of Plymouth; husband Jon Day of Bourbon; children: Katie Lenker of South Bend; Jesi (Koby) Lundy of Nappanee; Brandon Lenker of Fish Lake; Lauren (Erik) Parcell of Millersburg; brother Andy (Becky) Klingerman of Plymouth; 2 granddaughters and 1 grandson on the way.
Per the wishes of the family, a formal celebration of life will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ at 15676 Michigan Road in Argos, IN on February 13, 2023. Visitation will be from 3-5pm, and service will start at 5pm. This will be open to the public. Later, a private celebration of life with immediate family will follow.
