Anthony D. Berg, “Red” 28, passed away on March 9, 2021 at Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest.

Born on July 25, 1992 in South Bend, Indiana he was the son of Neil Berg and Betty Williams.

He attended Plymouth High School graduating with the class of 2011. He started dating Constancia Pena on August 1, 2017, she survives.

He worked for Modern Door Corporation in Walkerton and AK Industries Inc. in Plymouth. Anthony was a dedicated servant at Heartland Church in Plymouth, serving with the Rock Youth for 7 years. He was known for his heart of gold and would never turn anyone away, always lending a hand. He donated his time and love to the Heminger House and helping with national disasters. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, participating in Taekwondo and was a well-known animal lover, especially to his dogs Paimon and Margo. Anthony will be forever known for his kind and gentle soul who always had a hug for someone in need.

He is survived by his mother Betty Williams of Rochester; father Neil Berg of Hamlet; sister Nicole Berg of Rochester; brothers, Tyler Bailey of Knox; Darren Berg of Plymouth; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Anthony is preceded in death by his grandmother Charlene Williams and his uncles: Larry, Patrick and Robert.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 from 4-7 pm at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan Street, Plymouth.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at 11 am in the funeral home with Pastor Chris Miller officiating. Visitation will resume one hour prior. Burial will be in the New Oak Hill Cemetery.
