April M. Elmore, 37, passed away with her family by her side at 12:15 p.m. on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth.
April was born on April 8, 1977 in Elwood, Indiana to Alvin and Valerie K. Elmore. She graduated from Elwood High School with the class of 1996 and received a degree in criminal justice from Kaplan University in Chicago.
April is survived by her father, Alvin of Plymouth, and her brother Alvin Elmore II of Columbia City, IN.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Valerie, on February 23, 2014.
Visitation will be from 1 – 2 p.m. on Monday, June 30th, 2014 in the New Oakhill Cemetery Chapel, N. Michigan Street, Plymouth. Funeral services will immediately follow in the chapel, officiated by Pastor Jim Irwin.
Burial will be in the New Oakhill Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be made to the family or to the Indiana University Melvin and Bren Simon Cancer Center, 535 Barnhill Dr, Indianapolis, IN, US, 46202.
