Barbara Ellen Ferguson

Barbara Ellen Ferguson, 91, passed away peacefully at her home on February 15, 2026. The daughter of Barton and Elsie (Brown) Ball, Barb was born in Rochester on May 4, 1934.

Barb’s faith was shaped by the First United Methodist Church and First Presbyterian Church, both in Plymouth. She was married to Clifford W. Ferguson for 53 years.

Barb graduated from Plymouth High School in 1952, went on to work at Thermogas and later as a bookkeeper with Wier Trucking. Over the years, Barb enjoyed traveling to Texas for the winter months with her husband, Cliff, as well as to various events with her crafts that included Swedish Weaving, baby afghan blankets, and jewelry. She also enjoyed working in her flower garden over the summer months.

Barb is survived by her children, Timothy Ferguson, Ronald (Linette) Hawkins, and Kristine Palbykin; 9 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; along with siblings, Barton (Cheryl) Ball and Kim Ball.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford; parents, Barton and Elsie; son, Terry Hawkins, and son-in-law, Steve Palbykin.

Visitation will be held from 10-11AM on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan Street, Plymouth, IN 46563. A memorial service will immediately follow at 11AM with Pastor Ron Hawkins officiating.

Burial will take place at Oakhill Cemetery in Plymouth.
