Beverly Dean Wenino

Beverly Dean Wenino, 88, a resident of Carriage Drive, Plymouth, died in the Catherine Kasper Life Center, Donaldson, at 8:05 a.m. Saturday, May 1, 2010 after battling cancer.

Beverly was born on November 19, 1921, in Rensselaer, Indiana, the daughter of John R. and Madelene C. (Sayler) Lintner. There she graduated from High School with the class of 1939.

On Nov. 6, 1949, in Monticello, IN., Beverly married Robert H. Wenino, he preceded her in death on July 23rd of last year.

She was a homemaker and shared her penmanship with the Stanley family while working for the Memorial Record Company. She enjoyed watercolor art having taken classes at Ancilla and also listening to Big Band era music. With her family she loved summer trips into the Michigan Upper Peninsula. She had been a Blue Bird Leader and was a member of the Plymouth Ladies of the Moose and had served as Senior Regent.

Beverly is survived by her son, Robert Michael “Mike” Wenino of Plymouth and two daughters: Fredericka A. “Ricki” and husband James E. McFarlin of Ligonier, IN., and Sherry Lynn Moore, Taylorsville, N.C.

Four grandchildren and four great grandchildren survive along with five brothers and four sisters. Her brothers are: John (Francine) Lintner of Frankfort, Indiana, Daryl (Marjie) Lintner, Larry (Betty) Lintner, Ronald (Betty) Lintner and Michael (Marcella) Lintner all of Rensselaer, Indiana. Sisters include: Shirley Martinbianco of Burton, Michigan, Lillian Anderson of Rensselaer, Sandra Schauer of Duluth, Minnesota, and Claudia (Carmon) Witherington of Rensselaer. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, spouse and two grandbabies.

Visitation will be from 11 to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 4 , 2010, at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth.

Funeral services will follow visitation at 1 p.m. on Tuesday in the funeral home. The Rev. Father William Kummer, pastor of St. Michael’s Catholic Church, will officiate.

Burial will follow in New Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth.
