Bradford W. Long

February 3, 1951 - May 27, 2013

Bradford W. Long, 62 and a Plymouth resident for over 36 years, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Monday, May 27, 2013.
Bradford Wayne Long was born on February 3, 1951 in Warsaw, Indiana to Ernest D. and Gloria (Betzer) Long. He graduated from Warsaw High School.
On June 20, 1977 Bradford married Candi Sullivan in Plymouth, and together they had three children.
Bradford was working for International Wire in Bremen for 15 years. He previously worked for BOF in Argos.
He loved being outside and his Lutheran faith. In his younger years he enjoyed being in the water and playing sports. Bradford loved being with his family, kids and grandkids, helping them with anything when they asked. His favorite passion was spending time with his beloved wife, Candi. Together they traveled many places over the past 15 years, Bradford’s favorite trip being to Pike’s Peak in Colorado.
He is survived by his loving wife, Candi of Plymouth and their children: Tami (Jason) Harrell of Indianapolis, Jannika (Andy Cook) Long of Plymouth, Kris (Kelsey Keifer) Long of Bremen and Dustin Long; 7 grandchildren: Alexsia, Isabel, Kaydon, Mackenzie, Liam, Kayleigh and Chloe; his brothers, Dave (Karen) Long of Atwood, IN and Bud (Delphi) Long on Pierceton, IN; and his brother-in-law, Joseph Jacobs of Florida.
Bradford was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Kay Jacobs, and step-brother, Ernest Long Jr.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 from 4:00– 7:00 p.m. in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, Plymouth. Services will immediately follow in the funeral home at 7:00 p.m., officiated his uncle, Rev. Glen Mitchell.
Memorial contributions can be made to New Song Community Church, 410 N. Kingston Road, Plymouth, IN 46563.
