Carol A. Walton, 68, a resident of 9859 E. 18th Road, Argos passed away following an illness at 5:10 pm, Thursday, March 25, 2010 in the Our Lady of Peace Acute Care Center, Mishawaka.
Carol was born in St. Joseph County on April 3, 1941 and raised by her adoptive parents; Peter and Bernice (Sobeski) Kostielney. She graduated from John Adams High School and was a member of the Roman Catholic Faith.
On February 13, 1960 she married Bruce E. Walton, who survives.
She was a former employee of Federal Mogul in Leiters Ford and Ristance Wire in Argos.
Carol enjoyed attending flea markets and playing bingo, she loved Elvis and watching Elvis impersonators.
Also surviving is her daughter; Frances L. Hylton of Plymouth, granddaughter; Amanda (J.J.) Navarro of Edinburgh, Texas and her children; Jose and Christal. A grandson; Kenny Hylton of Spring Hill, Florida and his son Devin. A sister Rosemary Chrzanowski of South Bend also survives.
A graveside committal service will take place on Wednesday, March 31st at 1 pm in the New Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth. The Rev. William Kummer will preside.
In lieu of flowers contributions in Carol’s memory may be offered to the funeral home in assisting the family.
