Carolyn Sue Foshee

August 10, 1957 - October 9, 2008

Carolyn Sue Foshee, 620 Thayer St., Plymouth, died at her residence at 3:30 a.m. on Thursday morning, October 9, 2008. Fifty-one-years-old, she had been ill with Huntington’s Disease.
Born in Knox, IN. on August 10, 1957, she was the daughter of Wayne H. and Betty J. (White) Fagner. She was a member of the Knox High School Class of 1975.
On November 26, 1977, in the Eagle Creek Church in Knox, IN., Carolyn and John L. Foshee were married.
She worked first as a cashier in Winnetka, ILL., and later as a book keeper with the Moody Bible School. Her last job was as a receptionist at a nursing home.
Carolyn loved to travel. She enjoyed going to auctions and garage sales. She was an accomplished needle worker, making lovely needlepoint pieces. She loved going out to eat at various restaurants and was good at working puzzles.
She was a member of the Plymouth Wesleyan Church for the last eight years.
Carolyn is survived by her husband, John of Plymouth, and by a niece, Jennifer Allen, Knox, and a step- son and two step- daughters. They are Joe J. Foshee, Chicago, IL, and Janet M. Moloney, IL, and Deborah A. (Christopher) Phillips, Mundelin, IL.
A brother-in-law, Joe Allen of Knox, survives as well, together with several aunts and cousins.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Sharon Allen.
Friends may call at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth, IN from 1 – 3 P.M. (EST)on Sunday, October 12, 2008. Services will follow visitation at 3 P.M. in the funeral home. The Rev. Paul B. Hancy of the Plymouth Wesleyan Church and family friend Rev. Robert Schultz will officiate. Carolyn will be laid to rest in the Round Lake Cemetery, North Judson, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to remember Carolyn may send gifts to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and the Feed the Children’s Fund.
