Cecelia Rose Veclotch, 84, died, following an extended illness, at 6:41 p.m. in John F. Kennedy Hospital in Lake Worth, Fla., on Monday, March 11, 2002. She had been a resident of Lake Worth, for over 25 years, coming from Lake of the Woods/Bremen, Indiana area. Cecelia was born on Sept. 29, 1917, in Plymouth, Ind. She was the daughter of George and Anna Christine Sester Emenaker. She graduated from Plymouth High School with the class of 1935. On May 4, 1944, in Plymouth, Cecelia and Andrew J. Veclotch were married. Andrew died a little more than two years ago, on Feb. 21, 2000. A devoted wife, Cecelia co-owned and operated Veclotch’s Resort and Lodge with her husband at the Lake of the Woods, near Bremen, Ind. a very popular family spot for many years. She was a member of St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, Plymouth, and in Lake Worth, the Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church. Cecelia is survived by two brothers-in-law: Harold W. Price and Dr. John M. Bottorff, Sr., both of Plymouth. Several nieces and nephews also survive, along with care-giver and long time friend Josephine Lawrence of Lake Worth.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and five siblings. They are: two brothers, Louis and George Emenaker and three sisters: Frances Myers, Carol Bottorff and Regina Price. Visitation with her family will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, March 15, 2002, in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth. A Vigil Service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial, officiated by Father Emmanuel Chikezie, associate pastor of St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, 625 N. Center St., Plymouth, will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2002, in the church. Burial will be in St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery, Plymouth.
