Charles R. Nemeth III

August 25, 1956 - April 18, 2002
In Memorial

Charles R. “Charlie” Nemeth III, 45, living in the Plymouth area and in Florida most of his life, died at 10 p.m., Thursday, April 18, 2002. Charlie died in the familiar surroundings of his childhood home, 407 Ewing St., Plymouth, with his loving family beside him. Born in South Bend, Ind., on Aug. 25, 1956, Charlie was the son of Charles R. Nemeth II and Helen Virginia Sellers Nemeth. Born with Down’s Syndrome, Charlie brought much love and continued joy to the Nemeth household and to his neighbors throughout the years. He was a constant inspiration and a friend to many. Together, Charlie and his parents enjoyed trips together, garage sales and eating in various restaurants. He enjoyed TV, especially soap operas, reading magazines and had a collection of Elvis memorabilia. His favorite animal was the horse. Following the death of his mother in Florida last July, Charlie returned to Plymouth and made his home with his brother Tim and Diana Nemeth and their sons, Jason and Stephen. Also surviving is a sister and brother-in-law, Marcia K. and Dennis Santino, Odessa, Fla. Charlie was preceded in death by his father on June 9, 1999, and his mother on July 7, 2001. There will be no visitation or services. Charlie was involved with the Marshall-Starke Development Center and memorial gifts in his name may be sent to them.
