Christine E. Culp

Christine E. Culp, 69, passed away from complications during surgery on August 3, 2026 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka. The daughter of James Smith and Dorothy White, Chris was born in Mishawaka on June 9, 1957.

Family was the heart of Chris's life. She cherished every moment spent with her children and grandchildren, enjoying time at home over any other place. An enthusiast for her favorite TV shows, she loved watching "Days of Our Lives," "The Young and the Restless," "Wheel of Fortune," "Survivor," and "Big Brother," insisting on peace and quiet while they aired.

Chris attended Crossroads Church in Plymouth and was baptized there in October 2019.

She will be missed by her children, Denise Flora, Carey (John) Weir, and Ashley Culp; her grandchildren, Zachary, Denise, Nicole, Colton, Syndi, Whitey (Diana), Carter, and Emma; her great-grandchildren, Lailah, Lylah, Amiyah, Mazeleigh, and one on the way; along with her kitty, Psycho.

Chris is preceded in death by her parents, James and Dorothy; and her son, Whitey T.G. Culp.

Honoring Chris’s wishes, no formal services will be held.
