Christopher R. Pinkerton

Christopher R. Pinkerton, 65, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 11, 2026, at the Center for Hospice – Raclin House.

Chris was born on July 10, 1961, in Muncie, Indiana, to Larry L. and Beth E. (Lancaster) Pinkerton. He attended Plymouth High School and graduated with the Class of 1979.

Chris was an intelligent, easygoing, and kind-hearted man who had a way of enjoying the simple things in life. He loved sports and spent many years playing basketball, baseball, and football. Whether he was playing a game or simply enjoying one, sports were always a part of Chris's life.

Some of Chris's fondest times were spent with his brother, Nick. The two shared many adventures together, from cycling and throwing frisbees to spending days out on Lake Wawasee boating. Those moments, filled with laughter, friendship, and time together, were especially meaningful to Chris and will remain cherished memories for those who knew him.

Chris worked as a phlebotomist and most recently worked for Langfeldt’s. He will be remembered not only for his intelligence and laid-back nature, but also for the things that made him uniquely Chris. And, of course, no remembrance of Chris would be complete without mentioning his love of Dachshunds. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Plymouth.

Chris is survived by his mother, Beth, of Plymouth; his brother, Nick Pinkerton, of Plymouth; his brother, Charlie (Laura) Pinkerton, of Fishers, Indiana; two nieces; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Larry, and his significant other, Sharon Demi.

Chris leaves behind memories of good times, shared adventures, family, and the many simple moments that made life special. He will be deeply missed by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Per the wishes of the family, private services will be held.
