Christy L. Ramsey, 58, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2026 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne surrounded by her family. Born on April 5, 1967 in Elkhart, Christy was the daughter of Theodore and Bonnie (Ritter) Bulger.

Christy’s greatest role in life was being a mother to her children, Dustin and Lashea. When the children were younger, Christy worked as a pre-school teacher and in the cafeteria at their school. She enthusiastically coached Dustin’s basketball team so she could be at every game. Her heart grew even more when she earned the title of grandma; spending time with them after school each day. Family was at the center of what Christy loved the most.

She met her life partner, Gary White, nearly 21 years ago. They shared an instant connection and were inseparable since that day.

Those who knew Christy knew her love for singing and music. When she was cooking her famous BBQ Chicken, there was always music playing and she would be dancing around the kitchen. Despite the struggles she had in life, Christy always maintained an optimistic outlook.

Christy will be sorely missed by her life partner, Gary White; children, Dustin Ramsey (Julie Peterson) and Lashea Ramsey (Pierre Beason); grandchildren, Landon, Jordon, Blaire, Teagen, Kylie, Michael, and Jasiah; siblings, Cindy (Keith – Rusty) Rose, Tim (Renee) Bulger, Cherry Bulger, Cammy (Randy) Jones, and Connie Peace; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Bonnie; and her sister, Candy Bulger.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 from 12-1PM at Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan Street, Plymouth, IN 46563. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1PM with Life Celebrant James Smart officiating.

Christy will be laid to rest at Oakhill Cemetery in Plymouth.
