Colten Michael Silveus, 26, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2025. He was born on July 1, 1999, in South Bend, Indiana to Michael and Jill (Konrath) Silveus. He graduated from Plymouth High School with the class of 2018. On January 10, 2020, he married Jaylin Young in Plymouth.
Colten worked for the Repairer of Broken Walls Church. Colten had a deep connection with nature. He found peace and joy in the beauty of the world around him, whether he was working on the farm, camping under the stars, kayaking down a river, or simply spending quiet moments outside. The outdoors was where Colten felt most at home, and he cherished every opportunity to explore and experience it.
Beyond his love for nature, Colten was known for his selflessness and generosity. He was the kind of person who would drop everything to help anyone he cared about whether it was lending a hand on the farm or offering support during tough times. His ability to give without hesitation made him a cornerstone of the lives of those who knew him.
As a father, Colten was devoted to his two young daughters, Josephine and Clementine. His love for them was boundless, and he was deeply committed to their happiness and future. His daughters were his pride and joy, and he always dreamed of watching them grow up surrounded by love, laughter, and the same strong sense of kindness he showed to everyone.
He is survived by his parents, wife Jaylin Silveus of Bremen; daughters Josephine and Clementine of Bremen; siblings: Ethan (Becca) Silveus of Leesburg; Keegan Silveus of Plymouth; Makayla Silveus of Argos; Levi Silveus of Plymouth; sister Elli Silveus of Plymouth; brother-in-law Kane Young of Plymouth; Boston (Amanda) Hunter of Plymouth; Otis Young of South Bend; sister-in-law Lani (Joe) Ball.
Colten is preceded in death by his grandmother Eva Konrath.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 28, 2025, from 1-3 pm at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan Street, Plymouth, IN 46563.
