Dale Alvin Gross

Dale Gross of Rochester, Indiana passed away peacefully at home, on Christmas Day 2019 at 9:45 P.M., surrounded by his nieces and nephews and their families. Dale was an outdoorsman, who enjoyed fishing and camping. Always up for giving someone a hard time, he was lovingly known as the stubborn ole mule of the family. He enjoyed making his family laugh, always had a joke at the ready. Dale enjoyed his grandchildren, and grand nieces and nephews. He spent his time tinkering on bicycles, vehicles, lawnmowers and anything with an engine. Attending family member’s races and family reunions always was a favored time. Dale is survived by his children, Bobby Gross, Sue Christileb, Dale Jr., Billy Jack James Gross SR, Dakota Gross, Heavenly Gross, and Bradley Gross; his siblings Mary Krick and David Gross, several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other family members. At Dale’s wishes cremation rites have been accorded. A service will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Friday February 07, 2020 at the New Oak Hill Cemetery in the chapel at 1300 Chester St, Plymouth, IN 46563.
