David L. Stayton Jr., 58, passed away in his home at 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday July 18, 2018.
David was born in Plymouth, Indiana on April 11, 1960 to David L. and Norma (Hall) Stayton Sr. He graduated from Plymouth High School.
On November 22, 2008, David married Johanna M. Froehling Tratar in Argos, Indiana.
He worked his whole life for Indiana Heat Transfer, formally McCord’s, in Plymouth.
David enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening. He truly treasured time and memories made with his grandchildren. He was also a member of the Moose Lodge in Plymouth.
David is survived by his wife, Johanna, of Argos and his daughter and son, Danielle (Neal Hite) Stayton of Argos and David L. Stayton III; his mother, Norma Stayton of Plymouth; step-children, Steven T. (Colleen) Tratar of Chicago and Jaclyn (Scott Nix) Tratar of Kouts, IN; grandchildren: Lukas, Quinn and Waylon.
His siblings are: Sylvia (Ken) Hundt, Johny (Tami) Stayton and Gene Stayton, all of Plymouth.
He was preceded in death by his father and sister, Karen Stayton.
A Celebration of David’s Life will be held at a later date.
