
Della Sue Creighbaum 70, of Plymouth passed away on Wednesday January 6, 2021 at the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth.
Della was born on August 3, 1950 to Robert and Susie Sellers in Plymouth.
She married Daniel Eugene Creighbaum on December 17, 1977 at the Pilgrim Gospel Lighthouse in Plymouth and he preceded Della in death on April 16, 2019.
Della was a graduate of Plymouth High School with the class of 1969. She was employed at the Parkview Hospital, Plymouth where she worked the very first night shift. She had also worked at Pilgrim Manor as a dietician and Miller’s Super Value as the bakery manager retiring in 2001.
She enjoyed watching soap operas, baking cakes for birthday’s and wedding’s, collecting Pillsbury Doughboys and novelty pig items, and she especially loved her grandchildren.
Survivors include Sons; Nicholas D Creighbaum (Amanda K.); Benjamin E. Creighbaum (Amanda Jo); Jacob A. Creighbaum (Kristin) of Evansville, Indiana, Daughters; Emilie S. Zick (Timothy); and Bethanie A. Creighbaum. Grandchildren: Jerryd, Lennon, Matthew, Mackenzie, Noah, Emery, Jackson, Colin, Zachary, Parker, Dustin, and Grace. Also surviving are Brother, John Sellers (Dawn) and Sisters, Nancy (Kelvin) Sellers, and Cathy Sellers.
Preceding her in death are her husband, parents, and a sister, Becky O’Hara.
A private family visitation will be held on Thursday January 14, 2021 at the House of the Lord Church 16492 Lincoln Highway, Plymouth followed by funeral services at 11:30 A.M. with Pastor Ted Dilts officiating with burial to follow at New Oak Hill Cemetery. Following the ceremony, the family will be having a reception at Plymouth Wesleyan Church.
Memorials may be directed to the House of the Lord Church, 16493 Lincoln Way Highway, Plymouth.
Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 and current restrictions, the family is asking that children not attend the funeral services.
