Donald E. Luther, 81, passed away at his residence on December 11, 2022. On May 11, 1941, he was born to Edward Luther and Nina June Waldo in Kalamazoo, MI.
Donald would marry his sweetheart, Jeanne Cox, at the Nazarene Church in Mishawaka on November 3, 1990. He was a member of the Knox Church of the Nazarene and those who knew him, knew that he was a believer.
He served his country in the United States Air Force for 8 years during the Vietnam Era. Donald worked as a diesel mechanic, retiring in 1995, and he also worked at Brinks Security. His hobbies included being an avid history lover and he enjoyed watching history and old western movies.
Donald is survived by his wife, Jeanne; son, Aaron Luther of Plymouth; daughters, Megan Luther (William Skorup) of Plymouth, Quinn Li (Dominic) Palmitessa of Warsaw, and Dawn Porter of Santa Maria, CA; and grandchildren, Adyson and Chloe.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Margery Luther; mother, Nina June Waldo; and his infant son, Jacob.
Memorial services will be held on January 7, 2023 at 11am CST at the Knox Church of the Nazarene, 1801 S Heaton St, Knox, IN 46534.
