Donald R. Johnson

April 17, 1955 - April 10, 2023

Donald R. Johnson, 67, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 10, 2023 at Signature Health Care, Bremen.

Born on April 17, 1955 in South Bend, Indiana he was the son of Roy and Elouise (Cooper).

On July 29, 1995 Donald married the love of his life Robyn in LaPaz at her grandparent’s home. They shared 27 wonderful years together.

Donald worked for Bremen Glass, Gulfstream, CNC in shipping and receiving before retiring in 2018. A man with a great sense of humor that could light up any room that he walked into with his infectious smile.

A family man and a roller coaster enthusiast that enjoyed going on countless vacations to Cedar Point with his wife. Donald enjoyed watching Ryan Newman race during NASCAR season. He also loved tinkering around in the yard and grilling out. Most importantly he loved his family, especially those grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Robyn of Argos; daughter Amy (Ben) Thompson of Huntington, IN; sisters: Tamara Craig of Bremen; Pam Reed of Elkhart; Chasity (Mike) Jones of Bremen; grandchildren: Lynsey Masterson, Blake Masterson, Brandon Perry, Samantha Dudley; great-grandchildren: Alekx and Owen; 3 nephews: Michael, Billy and Nathan.

Donald is preceded in death by his parents and brother Ronald Ray Johnson.

Per the wishes of the family a celebration of life will take place at a later date.

    So sorry for your loss. I’m so glad I was able to get to know Don and Robyn. Don was a great guy . Glad I could call him my friend. He will be missed but never forgotten

    i knew don johnson for 30 plus years,he was a good man and a brother…ill miss you don till we meet again in heaven god speed you will be loved and missed greatly…
