Elaine was a very dear woman. I had the pleasure of visiting and praying with her while staying with us at Catherine Kasper Life Center. Her eyes were so gentle and she was a very dignified woman who appreciated life; giving her all. Her physical pain and suffering are now finished as she celebrates with that crown of eternal glory and love with our Creator. We will remember Elaine and hold you each in our prayers.

Dear Jan and Jeanne,
I am so sad about the passing of you beautiful mother. Elaine\’s reputation for dignity and strength obviously lives in both of you. Your efforts on your mom\’s behalf over the past several months have been a great example to all of us. Your mom brought two fabulous educators into this world. The enormous number of students you have effected have indirectly benefited from Elaine\’s grace. I am grateful that my brother had the joy of caring about this wonderful lady whom he admired so deeply. I know both of you see yourselves as fortunate to have had a mother you could share so much joy with. May the memories of all the fun you had together help carry though this difficult time. The world is a better place because Elaine was here: I know this because I have the privilege of having one her daughters for a sister-in-law. Sincerely, Cia

I knew your mother well. She was a good friend of mine from childhood; we used to walk to each other\’s house to visit, and we graduated together from high school. My husband was in the Air Force, and even though we moved around I wrote to her for many years, and have thought of her often. I know she\’s in a much better place, with no pain or suffering.
