Edward D. Ketcham

July 3, 1939 - November 25, 2022

Edward D. Ketcham, 83, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2022 at Miller’s Merry Manor, Culver.

Born on July 3, 1939 in Escanaba, Michigan he was the son of Edward N. and Violet (Trentin) Ketcham.

Edward D. Ketcham married Dorothy Grzyb on February 28, 1959, in Escanaba, Michigan and welcomed four children. They shared 64 years of marriage together. The family lived in Sauk Village, IL for 33 years, Prairie du Chein, WI for 7 years and lastly moving to Plymouth, Indiana.

He worked for Ford Motor Company for 30 years in Salvage Repair until his retirement in 1995. Edward will always be remembered by his family for his strong work ethic. In his free time, he enjoyed wood working and camping.

Edward was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church.

Edward is survived by his children Sherry Moricz, Edward Ketcham, Randy Ketcham and William Ketcham; 8 siblings; 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Dorothy, 5 brothers and 1 sister.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 12 pm at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 612 N. Walnut Street, Plymouth, IN 46563 with Fr. Fernando Jimenez officiating.

    I worked with Ed at Ford Motor Co. for quite some time. So sorry to hear of his passing. My condolences to the family, especially Bob, with whom I also worked.
