Effie M. Rowe

September 14, 1939 - July 10, 2015

Effie M. Rowe, 75, passed away suddenly with her loving family by her side on Friday, July 10, 2015 at 10:08 a.m. in the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center- Plymouth Campus.
Effie was born in South Bend, Indiana and attended schools in Bremen.
She became the bride of Homer Rowe on 1968. He would precede her in death in 1974.
Effie worked for Bristol Pipe Company for 24 years in production before her retirement in 2002.
She enjoyed crocheting, watching Sy-Fy and Horror movies and wrestling. She adored her dog, Maggie. Effie, or most commonly known to many as “Grandma”, was a crazy, fun-loving woman. She was cherished by her grandchildren.
Effie is survived by her sons: Charles and Ehler Martin, 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are her grandchildren: Marty (Lisa) Martin of LaPorte, IN, Dawn (Jim) Morgan of Plymouth, Andy Martin of Plymouth, and Macy (Casey) Hornung of Fargo, ND. Her great-grandchildren are: Bridget, Brittney, Timothy, Cody, AJ, Kasper, Romy, Dawson and Silas.
She was preceded in death by her son and daughter-in-law, Al and Donna Martin, and son Anthony Martin.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2015 in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan Street, Plymouth,
A Celebration of life will take place at 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
Burial will be in the New Oakhill Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be made to Humane Society of Marshall Co, PO Box 22, Plymouth, IN 46563.
