My sincere condolences to Eileen’s family for your loss. I had no idea she was 90! She was always so pleasant when I dropped off garments at the cleaners to be cleaned. May you find comfort in all the good times and memories that you shared. God be near you.

Eileen will truly be missed. She and I recently reconnected on Facebook. I loved receiving her comments and likes on my pictures and posts. She especially liked to keep up with my baby boy Conor. He will always bring her memory to me.
One of my very special memories was a summer vacation staying with my dad Butch and Step-mom Laurie. We went to visit Eileen and she showed me so many neat things. She taught me how to play Heart and Soul on the piano. She also would catch fire flies with us and take the butts off and make glowing jewelry with us. She was definitely a very special soul.

As a daughter, my hearts broken. Mom was such a big part of our lives. So many great get togethers when she was able. She was always the good listener and the one I’d called when someone needed a prayer. The past years my sisters and I were given the gift of helping her through, being able to stay in her home and enjoying the simple things in life. Helping her through this last hospital, and nursing home rehab stay we were so hopeful we would get her home. Seems God saw she was tired and spared her of a long nursing home stay that began to seem inevitable. Thinking back I so appreciate all the friends and family that have been so wonderful to her and our family. Mom was raised in a wonder community, and part of a wonderful family. Each of you have given our family a wonderful and full life. I’d like to thank each of you for that! Thank you also for all the prayers and cards sent through this difficult time. Mom is now flying high. Probably dancing with dad, or in a serious game of euchre. My son has no doubt recieved the biggest hugs ands been anxious to share eternity with her included. Again, thank you, and I wish everyone well. God Bless! 🦋🦋🦋

I was sad to hear about the passing of Eileen. I always looked forward to her coming into the salon to do her hair. It was fun to talk to her about her family and the trips that they would take. Our conversations would always lead to her love for IU basketball and how frustrating that the past two years the team just couldn’t get it together, lol!!
She will be dearly missed. My thoughts & prayers to all the family….
Sincerily,
Amy Paton
