Elias R. Jimenez, 69, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 22, 2025. Born in Santiago Capitiro, Mexico on July 31, 1956, Elias was the son of Manuel and Enedina (Ramirez) Jimenez.
On November 19, 1979, Elias married Josefina Ramirez. He held a dedicated career with Akron Foundry and later Plymouth Foundry before his retirement in 2018. Being a provider for his family was important to Elias. He was the happiest when his family was together and he was extremely proud of his children. Elias found a new joy in life when he became a grandfather; always spoiling his granddaughters with their favorite treats after he picked them up from school.
Those who knew Elias knew that he was an easygoing man that found joy in the simple things in life. Whether it was working in his vegetable garden or preparing his famous pancakes for this family, if he was with his family, he was a happy man.
Proud of his family heritage, Elias was overjoyed to be able to share his family home in Mexico with those he loved most. He shined as he showed off what he worked so hard for. Elias also looked forward to visiting his family in Texas and Florida.
