Elisha D. Coombs, 35, lost her battle with Crohn’s disease on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Indiana University Hospital, Indianapolis.

Born on January 5, 1986 in Indianapolis, Indiana she was the daughter of Michael A. Coombs and Wendy (Warren) Hudson. She attended Plainfield High School in Plainfield, IN graduating with the class of 2005.

On December 15, 2018 she found her soulmate Billy Minix who was an amazing fiancé, friend and caregiver that never left her side these past few years. Elisha loved fishing, camping, crafting, glass etching, scrapbooking, listening to country music, “especially Garth Brooks.” She took a lot of pride in making her infamous bruschetta and enjoyed cooking when she was healthy.

She is survived by her parents Wendy (Kevin) Hudson of Plymouth; brothers: Michael (April) Coombs of Indianapolis, IN; Nikolas Hudson of Anderson, IN; Brandon Hudson of Plymouth; sisters: Kaitlin (Mikal) Johnson of Pensacola, FL; Shara (Jason) Blair of Mishawaka; fiancé Billy Minix of Indianapolis, IN; grandfathers: Thomas (Sandy) Warren of Bradenton, FL; Michael McCarthy of Mooresville, IN; grandmothers: Irma Coombs of Indianapolis, IN; Sara Hudson of Grovertown; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Elisha is preceded in death by her father Michael Coombs, grandmother Debora McCarthy and grandfather Robert Coombs.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 from 5-7 pm in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan Street, Plymouth.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 11am in the funeral home with Pastor Taylor Hulse. Visitation will resume one hour prior to the start of the service.

Burial will take place in the New Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth.
