Evelyn J. Froeschke

August 25, 1957 — June 13, 2009

Evelyn J. Froeschke, 51, died, following a long battle with cancer, at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2009, at her daughter’s home surrounded by her loving family.

Evelyn was born, the daughter of Norman W. and Loretta M. Guise Beatty, in South Bend on August 25, 1957.

She was a 1975 graduate of Plymouth High School.

On October 2, 1976, in Plymouth, Evelyn and Stephen W. Froeschke were married.

A dedicated homemaker, she enjoyed bowling, gardening, the Cub’s baseball and, most of all, her two granddaughters, Gaia Froeschke and Hayley Galke, both of Plymouth

She was a member of the Old Bowling Bags in the Queens League, bowling on Wednesday nights.

Evelyn is survived by her husband, Steve, and their daughter Jessica Ringer and her fiancé Matt Galke and their son, Nick Froeschke, all of Plymouth.

Three sisters and five brothers also survive. Her sisters are: Rhonda (Buster) Johnson, Plymouth: Kathy S. Beatty, Culver and Teresa A. ( Jack) Huffer, Lapaz..

Her brothers are Michael W. ( Shelly) Beatty, Argos: Ronald E. (Cheryl) Beatty, James E. (Julie) Beatty: David A. Beatty and Larry N. Beatty, all of Plymouth.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents.

Evelyn’s family invites her friends to celebrate her life with them on Wednesday, June 17, 2009, from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth.

Funeral services for Evelyn will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, June 18, 2009, at 11 a.m. The Rev. Les Johnson, Chaplain at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth, will officiate.

Burial will be in New Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth, Indiana.

Memorials in Evelyn’s memory may be made to Autism Resources of Marshall County.
