Miss Florence E. Sanders, 90 died Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at her residence in Greenwood Village South located in Greenwood, Indiana
She was born April 12, 1917 in Marshall County. Her parents were Chester and Flossie (Davenport) Sanders. She attended area schools and attained a Bachelor of Science degree from Manchester College and served many years as a teacher in the South Bend Community School Corporation.
Florence was a former member of the Grace United Methodist Church, South Bend and was a longtime member of the Southport Presbyterian Church, Indianapolis. She was a member of the Retired Teachers Association, and the Indiana Retired Teachers Association. She was preceded in death by her two sisters: Lucile V. Sanders and Ethel B. Sanders.
Services for Florence will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, February 26, 2008 in the New Oakhill Cemetery Chapel, Plymouth, Indiana with calling one hour prior to services. The Rev. Charles Krieg will officiate. Burial will follow in New Oakhill Cemetery.
