Gregory S. Sheaks, 60, passed away on Friday, October 28, 2022 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka.

Born on June 21, 1962 in South Bend, Indiana he was the son of Glen and Teresa (Hewitt) Sheaks

He attended John Glenn High School graduating with the class of 1980. He proudly served his country with the U.S. Air Force, and while serving he met this wonderful lady named Sheri. They were married on August 14, 1982 in Buchanan, MI.

Greg was a Shop Foreman for 38 years at Tag Truck Accessories Group. He was a man that was always straight to the point, but would also was one the most giving person that most would ever encounter. His family best described him as one of extreme patience and an extremely hard worker. Greg absolutely loved his family, especially when it came to his grandchildren.

He enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting and working on vehicles. To those that knew him best, a master tinker. Greg loved the color green, and his roof, truck and just about every other object he painted became green.

He is survived by his mother Teresa; wife Sheri of LaPaz; daughters: Nicole (Daniel) Fox of Walkerton; Nachel (Allen) Chartier of Argos; grandchildren: Jailyn, Blake, Kolsen, Foster, Ayden, Meika, Paisley; sisters: Danielle (Paul) Reyes, Janell (Greg) Hoffman, Michelle (Jamie) White, Chantel Sheaks.

Greg is preceded in death by his father Glen.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2022 from 11-1 pm at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan Street, Plymouth. Funeral services will immediately follow with Life Celebrant James Smart officiating.
