Helen J. Marsh

September 4, 1942 - March 17, 2017

Helen J. Marsh, 74, and Plymouth resident all her life, passed away in her home with family near her at 3:35 p.m. on Friday, March 17, 2017.
Helen was born in St. Joseph County, Indiana on September 4, 1942 to Vallen and Rita (Osmanski) Dyer. She graduated from LaPaz High School with the class of 1961.
Helen worked for Wheel Horse for 28 years in South Bend. She then worked for Whitley Products for over 15 years before her retirement.
When the Plymouth Wesleyan Church in Plymouth was building their new addition, Helen was a huge part of that. She loved her family and treasured memories made with them. She was an avid Notre Dame Fan, loved going to the casino and Ford Mustangs.
She is survived by her son, Harold (Loretta) Marsh II of Olney, IL; grandchildren: Holly (Jeffrey) Landis of Wakarusa, IN, Kyle (Jessica Rose) Marsh of Lafayette, IN and Megan Marsh of Plymouth, IN; 4 step-grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren, Isiah and Cooper Marsh; 7 step-great-grandchildren; and siblings: Allen Dyer of Argos, Colleen (Jim) Wickard of Argos, and Aulgie Cudney of Fish Lake, IN.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Valerie Toothman and baby brother, Vallen Jr.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. EST on Friday, March 24, 2017 in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan Street, Plymouth.
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. EST on Saturday, March 25, 2017 in the funeral home. Visitation will resume one hour prior.
Burial will be in the New Oak Hill Cemetery.
