Helen Coyne Kruzick

Helen Louise Coyne Kruzick, 97, formerly of Plymouth, IN, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2025 at Country Acres Assisted Living in Westminster, MD.

Helen was born in Plymouth, IN on June 5, 1928, to Harley H. Coyne and Edna F. (Rohrer)

Coyne. On December 21, 1944, Helen went on to marry James R. Kruzick in New Carlisle, IN. Together, they would raise their children, James R. and Raymond W. in Plymouth, IN. James and Helen celebrated over 50 years of marriage, with James proceeding her in death on November 28, 1998, in Fort Myers, FL.

Through the years, in her free time, Helen was an active member of the Women of the Moose and American Legion Auxiliary. She also enjoyed taking a trip to the boat from time-to-time, Four Winds Casino being one of her favorites. Helen loved the sunshine and would continue to spend the winters in Fort Myers, FL, where her sons, James R., and Raymond W. proceeded her in death. Also proceeding in death was her half-sister, Phillis J. (Crocker) Stachowski.

Helen is survived by her granddaughters, Jill (Rodney) Lehman, of Mt. Airy, MD, and Lorrie Kruzick, of Peculiar, MO. Helen had four great-grandchildren, Allen and Jamie Gates, and Ethan and Grant Lehman, and two great-great-grandchildren, Cooper and Andrew Gates.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at 10AM at Oak Hill Cemetery in Plymouth with Pastor Matt Elliott officiating.
