Irene Springman, 87, of Bremen, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017 in her residence.
Irene was born March 21, 1930 in Gary, Indiana, to the late John and Anna (Zelenick) Molchan. Irene graduated from Tolleston High School in 1947. On November 27, 1949 in Gary, Indiana, she married William W. Springman; he preceded her in death on November 8, 1988.
Irene was a machine operator for twelve years. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting. She also loved working in the kitchen baking. Surviving are her three children; Guy Springman, Gale Springman both of Bremen, and Gus (Marie) Springman of Plymouth, four grandchildren; Hilary Tribby, Chelsey Springman, William Springman and Kara Springman, three great-grandchildren; Adelise, Esca and Rowyn Tribby, and one sister; Connie Velcek of Chicago, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one brother; Harry Molchan. A memorial visitation will take place on Sunday, March 26, 2017 from 1:00-3:00 PM in the Johnson- Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 North Michigan Street, Plymouth, Indiana 46563. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 PM, officiated by Pastor Nate Rettinger.
