Jaxton B. T. Schmidt

June 4, 2015 — June 5, 2015

Many have offered prayers and held thoughts in their hearts for the lives of twin brothers; Jaxton Broderick Taylor and Greyson Gunnar Ty Schmidt. Born premature on the 4th of June, Jaxton’s struggle in life came to a rest in the palm of the hand of our true Creator – Our Lord Jesus Christ. It is with Faith that we continue to pray for Greyson and his young family.

A dedication of their lives and souls to Christ will occur during the 9 a.m. morning worship service on Sunday, June 28th at the Plymouth Wesleyan Church, 11203 S. Michigan St. Plymouth.

This announcement and thoughts of appreciation come from his parents; Broderick T. and Kyleigh S. (Sage) Schmidt, for all of the support from church, family, friends and strangers, especially for the efforts of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka.

Along with his parents and brother, Jaxton is survived by paternal grandparents; Steve E. Schmidt of Culver, Tory R. Schmidt of South Bend, paternal great-grandparents; Norva and Brian Shidler of Culver and Robert “Bobby” and Faith Tennyson of Mishawaka along with maternal grandparents John “Tim” and Tonya Sage of Culver, maternal great-grandparents; Bill and Mardell Retschlag of Winamac, Fred Lemert of Plymouth and John Sage of Donaldson. A host of aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

Preceding in death were paternal great-grandparents; Marilyn Joan and Richard Elmer Schmidt and maternal great-grandmothers; Margaret June Sage and Peggy Ann Lemert.

The family wishes to request memorial gifts be given to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, c/o St. Joseph Health Systems, 707 E. Cedar Street, South Bend, IN 46617
