Jay S. Blanding, 67, passed away unexpectedly on November 12, 2025 at his home. The son of William and Grace (Mitchell) Blanding, Jay was born on June 5, 1958 in Lansing, MI.
Jay held a career in Customer Service with Kuriyama of America in Shamburg, IL. In his free time, he enjoyed golfing and playing billiards. Jay looked forward to watching sports and cooking for his friends. His family will remember him for his kind and calm nature.
Jay is survived by his father, William; mother, Grace; siblings, Liza (Gary) Ahrendt and Charles Blanding; along with nieces and nephews, Mitchell, Michael, and Carrie.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents.
