Jean worked for Wagoner Wire, and as a production worker for DelMonte for 12 years before she retired. Wanting to keep busy, she would go to work for the Plymouth Motel and worked in housekeeping.

It did not matter how busy she would get; Jean would always make time for her family. She left a legacy of a strong work ethic instilled in her children to emulate.
She loved to go old Rock and Roll and country line dancing at the Moose Lodge. Jean had an immaculate eye for decorating her house, one to be admired by many.
She is survived by her son’s: Stephen (Judy) Hessler of Richland, IN; Martin Hessler of Beaumont, Texas; Mark (Carla) Michalski of Richmond, IN; she was blessed with 3 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren.
Jean is preceded in death by her parents, husband and her siblings: Kenneth, Agnes, Pat, Wayne and Dela.
