
Jennifer Ann (Snider Campiti) Stayton, 63, a Pennsylvania Avenue resident in Plymouth, passed away in her home at 1:31 a. m. on Saturday, December 8, 2012.
Born in Fort Wayne on April 17, 1949, Jennifer was the daughter of Walter J. and Margaret L. (Botruff) Snider. She graduated from Huntington High School with the class of 1967 and attended IUPU of Fort Wayne majoring in Biological Sciences.
Previously married to Charley Campiti, and her present husband, John L. Stayton, survives her death.
Jennifer worked in Plymouth for Skystream, Inc. for 13 years. She also was employed by DUECO in Bourbon for 20 years and last worked for her son, Anthony at Sunstorm Interactive, a media development company for five years.
A nature lover, Jennifer enjoyed sketching, embroidery, reading, fishing, and loved bird watching.
She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church and the Plymouth Moose Lodge.
In addition to her husband, Jennifer is survived by two sons: Anthony C. (Tonya) Campiti, Las Vegas, Nevada and Jason J. Campiti, Ashburn, Virginia.
Two granddaughters, Grace Campiti, Ashburn, and Sydney Turner, Las Vegas, survive together with two grandsons, John Campiti, Ashburn, and Kaden Ryan, Las Vegas. A sister, Carolynn (Rich) Botruff Tupiak, Prudenville, Michigan, also survives.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Paul “Butch” Snider of Huntington, Indiana.
Visitation for friends of Jennifer will be from 5 – 7 p.m. on Tuesday, December 11th at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 North Michigan St., Plymouth.
A special service held by the Women of the Moose will begin at 7 p.m. A Memorial service officiated by the Rev. Steven Resner, pastor of the Calvary Lutheran Church, will immediately follow in the funeral home.
Entombment at a later date will be in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Fort Wayne.
