Jeremy Laffoon, 40, passed away after a lengthy battle with physical health issues on Saturday, October 2, 2021.
Born in Plymouth, Indiana on May 23, 1981, Jeremy was the son of Gary L. and Oralia (Briones) Laffoon.
Through a mutual friend at dinner one night, Jeremy was introduced to the love of his life, Rebecca Rae Yakim. They would marry in Plymouth on May 28, 2009, and welcome a son, Adam. He was the best Dad.
Jeremy was outgoing, a free-spirit, energetic and talkative. He would give the shirt off his back and had a very black and white view on life. He taught others to let things go and to move on, and that some things just are how they are. He taught them forgiveness, loyalty and being open to ideas and criticism.
Jeremy loved to draw and was a talented tattoo artist. He had a passion for collecting and identifying rocks and minerals.
He is dearly missed by his wife, Rebecca and son, Adam, both of Walkerton; his brothers, Danny Laffoon of WI and Josh Coffey of South Bend; maternal grandmother, Olivia Briones; mother and father-in-law, Marcia Yakim and Robert Yakim; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Jeremy was preceded in death by his mother and maternal grandfather, Pablo Briones.
Per his request, no funeral services will be held.

Jeremy was one of the most open, kind-hearted souls that I ever met. I’ve known him for 25 years and feel blessed to have been part of his life. I’m devastated by his loss. I’d give anything for more time.
