Jerry T. Lamb, 72, passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at home. Born on July 20, 1950 in Berea, Kentucky, he was the son of Motton and Mae (McCollum) Lamb.

He worked as a Timber buyer for Amos Hill in Edinburgh, Indiana retiring in 2018. Jerry was known as a jokester that had a great sense of humor. Gentle, kind hearted, intelligent man who was quick on his feet and also extremely patient are just a few characteristics that described who he was.

A NASCAR enthusiast, avid Notre Dame fan that never missed a race or a game. He enjoyed collecting baseball, football, NASCAR and basketball cards. Jerry had a deep love for God and his family that will be admired throughout his family for generations to come.

He is survived by the mother of his children, Pam Lamb of Plymouth; significant other Kathy Messer; children: Jerry (Michelle) Lamb of Tyner; Angela (Steve) Shorter of Argos; Travis Lamb of Argos; Tera (Sean) Douglass of Plymouth; brothers: Arnold (Shirley) Lamb, Don (Janet) Lamb, Terry (Kim) Lamb, Larry (Paula) Lamb, Rick (Tracy) Lamb; sisters: Carol (Bill Danner) Lamb, Charlotte (Denver) McCarty, Connie (Alan King) Lamb; grandchildren: Savanah (Clayton) George, Erica (Andrew) Jurgonski, Tierra (James) Skiles, Jacob (Kori) Casteel, Matthew (Kaylee) Shorter, Shianne (Daniel Skiles) Bower, Trenton (Makayla) Bower, Michael Lamb, Makayla Lamb, Lane Douglass, Carson Shorter, Emily Lamb, Olivia Lamb, Evan Douglass; 16 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, siblings: Billy Ray Lamb, Paul Lamb, Autumn Phelps; grandson Chandlor Lamb.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 from 11-1 pm at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan Street, Plymouth. Funeral services will immediately follow with Pastor Denver McCarty officiating.

Burial will be in the Tyner Cemetery, Tyner.
