Jimmie D. Bazini

January 3, 1960 - June 7, 2008
In Memorial

Jimmie Dean Bazini, 48, an area resident all of his life, died following an illness, at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 7, 2008, in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend.
Jim was born in Fort Wayne, Ind. on January 3, 1960. He was the son of E. Lee Bazini and Rosemary Stone Laughlin.
A 1978 graduate of Tippecanoe Valley High School, he attended Valparaiso University and the University of Kentucky.
On May 30, 1987, in Fort Wayne, Jim and Sandra Boyd were married.
He worked as a computer consultant.
He loved music and flying. A member of the Winds Flying Club of South Bend, he had taken some flight training.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of 21 years and by his mother, Rosemary and step-father, Don Laughlin, of Claypool, Ind.
Two sisters and their children also survive. They are Christine (David) Sands and daughters:Andrea, Elizabeth and Jennifer of Syracuse, Ind., and Teresa (Tom) Breading, and daughter Christa of Warsaw, Ind.
Two step-sisters, Theresa (Mike) Silver, Indianapolis, and Michelle (Sean) Koos, Warsaw, survive as well, together with a step-brother, Chad (Manika) Laughlin, Warsaw, and one step-niece and five step-nephews.
Jim was preceded in death by his father, his grandparents, Harold and Irene Stone and Eduardo and Alena Bazini.
Friends are invited to celebrate his life and share memories with his family at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1110 N. Michigan St., Plymouth from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 10, 2008, and after 7 a.m. on Wednesday, June 11, 2008.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 11, 2008, in the funeral home. Pastor Jim MacDonald will officiate.
Memorial gifts may be made in Jim’s memory to the Kidney Foundation.
