Joseph (Joey) Earl Branch

Five-year-old Joseph “Joey” Earl Branch, formerly of Plymouth , died at his residence 3710 S. Michigan St. , South Bend, at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2002. Joey died of complications caused by a near drowning accident three years ago. Born on May 9, 1997 in Plymouth, he was the son of John William and Marcia Marie Clark Branch. Joey is survived by his parents, a brother, Benjamin Navy Branch and a sister, Mackenzie Marie Branch, all of South Bend. His maternal grandparents, Earl and Norma Clark, Culver, Ind., and paternal grandparents, Navy and Geraldine Branch of Hanceville, Ala., survive his death together with his maternal great-grandmother, Dora Risner of North Judson. Visitation with the family will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31, 2002, in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth. Funeral services will be in the funeral home at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 1, 2002. Burial will be in the Maxinkuckee I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Culver, Ind. Memorial gifts in Joey’s memory may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
