
Juanita Kottka, 72, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, November 26, 2020.
Born in LaPorte, Indiana on July 11, 1948 she was the daughter of Carl and Nancy (Thomas) Mangun.
On April 25, 2014 she married Steven in Plymouth.
Juanita loved serving people and worked as a “crew mom” at McDonald’s for fifteen years as a grill cook before she retired. Everyone she worked with loved and respected her. She enjoyed bingo, bowling, watching game shows, soap operas, spending time with her kittens, collecting trolls, angels and miscellaneous Knick knacks. Juanita loved attending Faith Baptist Church whenever she was able.
She is survived by her husband Steven of Plymouth; daugthers: Tracey Crow and her companion Greg Gross of Plymouth, Christina Prater and her companion Tamara Crail of Austin, IN and Katrina (Sam) Ayala of LaPorte; son Anthony (Jennifer) Crow of Plymouth, IN; sisters, Ada Duckett of Kokomo, IN and Martha (Marty) Rhunow of Macy, IN; 43 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
Juanita is preceded in death by her parents, children, Kimberly and Jerry, siblings: Dale, Marlene, Irma and Judy.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2020 from 1-3 p.m. at Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan Street, Plymouth. Funeral services will immediately follow with Pastor Paul Whitworth officiating.
Memorial contributions can be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
PLEASE NOTE: For your protection, the entire funeral home staff will wear masks. It is mandated that family members and their guests do so as well.
