
Judith A. Smith, 77, of Plymouth passed away early Monday, January 25, 2021 at her home with her family at her side.
She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on May 17, 1943 to Luther and Arlene (McCleary) Russell.
Judith graduated with the class of 1962 from Noblesville High School in Noblesville, Indiana.
She met Wayne Smith in 1962 while working at Western Electric in Indianapolis. They were married in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1969.
Judy was employed at Hehr International in Plymouth for 25 years retiring in 2000. She was also a secretary at Browns Plumbing for 10 years and also co-owned Smitty’s Tavern in Plymouth for 5 years.
She is survived by her husband: Wayne; brother, Paul Russell of Alabama, sister: Connie Snetchen of Sheridan, Indiana; grandchildren: Brandon, Blake, and Miranda and great-granddaughter: Adeline.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Brian and Brett, and brothers, Ronny and Tim Russell.
A Celebration of Her Life will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2021 from 11:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the Plymouth Moose Lodge #741 1225 West Jefferson Street, Plymouth.

I’m so sorry for your loss I know Judy suffered a lot and know she is resting. A short story about Judy one day I was by the copier machine and she slapped my butt hard I said hey what did you that for and she said because she can. We became good friends and she is a grand lady and a really great friend. Love you Judy.
