Kathleen B. Eskridge

August 30, 1955 - August 8, 2017

Kathleen B. “Kat” Eskridge, 61, a Plymouth resident most of her lifetime, passed away in the South Bend Hospice House on Tuesday, August 8th at 5:55 p.m. of a cancer related illness.
Kat is the daughter of Ralph C. and Rosella Ellen (Bohney) McColly and was born in Hammond, Indiana on August 30, 1955. Baptized into the Roman Catholic Faith, she would attend Bishop Knoll High School and then graduate from Lake Central High School at St. John, Indiana in 1973. There she was a cheerleader and active in the school plays.
For 22 years Kat worked for Aker Plastics in Plymouth in mold repair and final finish. She had also worked for seven years as a bartender with Wright’s Landing. She enjoyed flower gardening and kayaking. She loved her pet dog and companion Bear.
She is survived by her four children: David C. Cooper of Plymouth, Dianna L. (Kirk) Weiss of Plymouth, Heidi R. Cooper of Bourbon and Philip R. Shriver of Plymouth. Twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive along with seven siblings and numerous nieces and nephews. They are: Gayle (Brian) Henry of NC, Michael McColly of FL, Kevin (Chaz) McColly of WI, Karen McColly of WI, Kimmi (David) McCartney of FL, Kristie (Kenta) Shinohara of IL, and Kerry (Traci) McColly of IN.
Kat was preceded in death by her parents.
A celebration of her life is to being held this Saturday at 4 p.m. in the Potato Creek State Park located on Highway 4 east of North Liberty.
