The news of Kaye\’s passing is so sad. I have only seen Kaye a handful of times since highschool but everytime I did, she was just as vibrant as I remembered when we were young. Her smile was infectious and she always made everyone feel comfortable around her. My deepest sympathy to her family. You will be in my prayers.

It has taken me a couple of days to sort through all the memories I have of the times Kaye and I shared growing up… Something that came to me while doing this was that Kaye was my very first friend… I really had never thought about that before… She and I did everything together… We learned how to ride bikes, climb trees, play Cowboys and Indians, dig for Indian beads in the middle of the road, built snow forts and tunnels… The list really could go on and on… We ruled 10 B Road… Kaye was a wonderful person and loyal… Even in our early adult years we shared our joys of having kids and our sorrows of losing parents and grandparents… It never seemed to matter how long it had been since we had seen each other, we could always strike up a deep conversation… Mary Jane, Clyde, Michele and Jon and the beautiful grandchildren please know my thoughts and prayers are with you all… I am saddened that I could not be there for the services… I will always cherish the memories of Kaye I hold deep in my heart… Peace to you all!
