We have many happy memories of Ken beginning at the Diplomat in Cocoa Beach. We will never forget the eleven consecutive Thanksgiving Dinners we spent with Ken beginning in 2008. We celebrated many St. Patrick’s Days, Easters, and Christmases together with Ken and other close friends at the Diplomat. There were many memorable birthday celebrations and happy hours shared with the same group of friends. We were fortunate to know and love Helen, Eileen, Bob, Nancy, Roger and Michelle. We will miss the Birthday cards and the holiday cards and the phone calls.

Ken was a great friend and a gentleman. We spent many hours talking with him, listening to his reviews on books that he had or was currently reading and of course always getting a chuckle every time I received an asparagus recipe from him. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Our love to his entire family.

It has taken us nearly a week to sit down and write this note to a family that has meant so much to us — Ken and Helen were some of the first people we met in Florida — we shared families, birthdays, holidays and puzzles!!! Our families became like a family. With the addition of Eileen, our family grew and we watched concerts along with sporting events – we spoke with Ken about our jobs, our retirement plans, and life in general. We were blessed to have spent time with them during ‘happy hour’ and on the beach. We truly loved this gentle-man and the time he shared with us. We will miss him and wish Eileen, Roger and Bobby wonderful memories to guide them through this time. Our deepest condolences to all. Sending Iowa Love!!

I was so Blessed to be able to call you Uncle Kenny for over 55 years. You always knew just the right thing to say to comfort me after both my parents died. A piece of my heart is gone with you. I will forever cherish all of the memories of You, Aunt Eileen, Aunt Helen, Mom & Dad and Our Families. Always Part of My Heart ❤️

We are thinking of each of you at this time of loss, searching for the right words to express our deepest sympathy. We seem to be unable to find the right words because you all mean so much to us, and Kenny was so special to us. Words seem inadequate. So we will send our Love, God’s Grace, and Peace to be with you.🌹
