Leander J. ‘Andy’ Stein

September 11, 1918 — February 10, 2007

Leander J. ‘Andy’ Stein, 88, passed away Saturday at St. Joseph Hospital, Plymouth. A veteran of WWII, he had operated Mishawaka Wheel Alignment for over 30 years.

He is survived by his wife June, daughter Mary Ellen (Michael) Rogers of Austin, Texas, son Joseph G. (Mary) Stein of Argos, three grandchildren, and brothers; Robert Stein of Green Bay, Wis. and Roman Stein of Mishawaka.

He was preceded in death by a daughter; Susan Marple, sisters; Bernice Stein, Marjorie Schultz and Ann VanDeLoo and a brother; Frederick Stein.

A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Wednesday in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, Plymouth with calling one hour prior to services. Rev. John Branch of the Plymouth Wesleyan Church will officiate. Internment is planned for Arlington National Cemetery.
