Leona R. Schmidt, 75, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Miller’s Merry Manor, Plymouth.
Born on January 9, 1948 in Winamac, Indiana she was the daughter of Frank and Marie (Dillenburg) Schmidt. She attended Culver High School graduating with the class of 1966. For 42 years she worked in Computer Operations for Citigroup before retiring in 2009.
Leona was a strong and independent woman that enjoyed reading and watching movies.
She is survived by her sisters: Cathy Eley of Argos; Margaret Stukenburg of Tulsa, OK; brother Thomas (Rhea) Schmidt of Culver; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Leona is preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Paul, John, William, James, Harold, Richard Schmidt.
