Linda C. Sheets

April 8, 1942 - February 14, 2021

Linda C. Sheets, 78, passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Plymouth.

She was born on April 8, 1942 to Harry A. and Nellie Viola (Dawson) Wallace. She graduated from Argos High School with the class of 1960.

On July 28, 1970 in LaPaz, Linda married James V. Sheets.

Linda was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Plymouth. She also worked for the Park n’ Shop in Argos for a few years.

She is survived by her daughter, Danita (Richard) Rice of Argos and her son, Wade (Suzanne) Sheets of Orlando, FL; grandchildren: Kaylie (Adam) Rodriguez, Ashley (Zach) Starr and Richard “Ricky” (Katrina) Rice, Jr.; great-grandchildren: Owen, Mia and Ava Rodriguez and Zoey and Emalynn Starr; and siblings: Alvina Florea and Nadine Rice

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, James; parents; and her siblings: Burton, Derl, Merlin, Clayton and DeVere Wallace and Roena Yeazel and Juanita Stapan.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 in the New Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth with Life Celebrant James Smart officiating.

Memorial contributions can be made to Walnut Church of the Brethren, 5975 19th Road, Argos, Indiana 46501.

PLEASE NOTE: For your protection, the entire funeral home staff will wear masks. It is mandated that family members and their guests do so as well.
