Lisa A. Norris

July 3, 1960 - December 15, 2022

Lisa A. Norris, 62, passed away surrounded by family on Thursday night December 15, 2022, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka.

Born on July 3, 1960, in Plymouth, Indiana, Lisa was the daughter of Deane W. and Bonnie E. (Geyer) Baker. She graduated from Plymouth High School with the class of 1978 and then attended Ancilla College in Donaldson.

In the Plymouth Wesleyan Church on August 25, 1979, Lisa married William O. Norris. The couple would welcome three children, William, Deane and Malisa.

Lisa was a devoted wife and involved mother, all the community kids called her “Momma Norris”. She served as Treasurer of the Marshall County Youth Softball League and the captain of the Bareliables bowling team.

She enjoyed tracing genealogy, boating, riding snowmobiles, and car racing. Lisa also raised horses. Family meant everything to her, and she treasured family vacations. She loved doing on and off-road rallies like the Gambler 500.

Lisa is missed by her loving husband of 43 years, Bill, and her children: William (Hannah) O. “Bill” Norris III of Tippecanoe, Deane M. (Roberta) Norris of Plymouth, and Malisa A. Norris of Plymouth; grandchildren: Koleman Norris, Boden Norris and Kaily Jo Norris, and Merdoc and Perma Robles; and sister Deena Newcomer.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Carol Penrod, and mother-in-law, Dee Eck.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2022, from 4-7 p.m. at Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan Street, Plymouth.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 23, 2022, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Ed Friberg officiating. Visitation will resume one hour prior.

Burial will follow in the New Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth.
